SDYCL Junior Club Development Seminar

By Chris Partridge

The Wollen Michelmore SDYCL are proud to announce a first ever club development seminar specifically for member clubs to help develop their junior cricket offer.

Sunday 23rd April - save the dates in your diaries now!

The SDYCL are very excited to announce that we will be running our first ever club development seminar aimed at offering member clubs practical ideas, tips and advice to help junior team managers and coaches; umpires and scorers; parents and helpers.

The seminar will take place at The Devon Cricket Centre, Exeter University, and will run from 10am until 1pm.

The exact content of the seminar is still being confirmed, but included will be:

* A practical workshop for qualified and unqualified coaches/parent helpers to help make better use of junior training nights
* A demonstration of how to use the play-cricket software package to record results and statistics
* Information and advice to support umpires and scorers
* A networking opportunity to share ideas and best practice between member clubs

In addition to the above, every club who attends the seminar will receive a free #havingablast pack of merchandise to help junior matches develop that professional T20 atmosphere in 2017.

Best of all, there is NO COST to clubs for attending and clubs are invited to send as many representatives as they wish so please spread the message and encourage your "helpers" and "potential helpers" to come along.

All you need to do is confirm the name(s) of the people from your club who will be attending, by emailing Chris Partridge on risingstars2010@googlemail.com by Friday 31st March.
